Best funds to own in 2010 — February 12 update

Cash remains king with only 14% of Fidelity funds in our panel in uptrend. Indeed, the Fidelity Cash Reserves (FDRXX) fund has outperformed most mutual funds this year. Turmoil in international markets left all funds investing abroad trending lower. However, a few bright spots remain for investors focusing on domestic investments.

Most notably, the Fidelity Select LeisureĀ (FDLSX) fund has rebounded from the 100-day moving average. FDLSX will have to move above it’s recent high to confirm the uptrend.

The Fidelity Real Estate Income (FRIFX) fund is also holding in an uptrend. The main attraction here is the juicy 4.80% yield.
